The Spanou Fishery is situated in Distrato, Ioannina, at an altitude of 1.000 meters and upon the national highway of Distrato to Vasilitsa's Ski Resort.

It draws its water from springs on the west side of Mount Vasilitsa and it produces trouts of excellent taste.

Our unit specialises in the production of trout fry, playing a big part in the Greek and foreign market. Every year in our facilities millions of eggs hatch from selected broodstock and trout fry of the best quality is produced.

The whole production process is checked and controlled from experienced specialists who, in combination with our 30 year experience, serve as guarantee for the quality of our produce.

We are also able to transport and deliver live trout and trout fry in most of the country.
